Podere Castorani


Colour: intense straw yellow, with golden hints.

Aroma: intense hints of white flowers, exotic fruits, citrus fruits and spices.

Taste: mineral on the palate, with notes of citrus fruits, full, with a persistent aftertaste of ripe almonds and vanilla.


Vintage: 2018. Alcohol volume: 13% vol. Bootle volume: 0,75 lt. Allergens: Sulfites. Variety: Trebbiano 100% Height a.s.l: 340 metres. Exposure: south, south-west. Training system: horizontal (tendone tradizionale Abruzzese) and vertical (spalliera). Production: 9t/ha. Soil type: clay soil with a rich structure at greater depths. Harvest: manual, with careful selection of the grape bunches, in the second half of September. Fermentation: cold pre-fermentative maceration for 12 hours, soft pressing of the grapes, followed by fermentation at 18º C, which is completed in wooden barrels of 500lt capacity. Malolactic fermentation: partial. Ageing: 12 months in wooden barrels "sur lies". Bottle ageing: over 6 months. Alcohol volume: 13% vol.
